I have 2 pairs of Infinity Reference speakers for sale out of my old 190e. The first pair are 6502i 16.5cm speakers. Perfect condition complete with mounting rings and grilles. 60W RMS, 180W Peak and they sound fantastic. The tweeters are angled slightly and can be spun round to point in any direction. Cost me £65 a few years ago, so £30 seems fair to me. The 2nd pair are 452i 4" speakers. Again, perfect condition but as these were hidden under the speaker covers on the Merc, there are no grills for these. 35W RMS, 105W peak and again, sound great. Tweeters are fixed on these though. These cost me around £50, so £25 for these. They are in Ilkeston, and collection is preferred. Postage is an option at Royal Mail standard rates, but I am lazy and might take a week or so after getting the money to get them posted! PM is best way to contact me, or you can reply in the thread too.

used speakers are a funny thing to sell. They can go for like pennies or do well.
Might be interested if they fit my new car, I've used these babies before with great results. But as my new car isn't here I can't check as yet.

I could be having those 16.5cm speakers off you. Need see how big the originals are in the front of my Sunny first. I'll be in touch.

True enough AK - if no-one's interested at this price, I'll just keep 'em until I have something that they fit in!
I'm in no rush to sell, just decluttering the place really, well, that and I need to pay to have my dormer roof re-felted and boarded, so the money would come in Handy.
Fuzzy, just let me know if/when you want them if they fit!
Cheers, Martin

Interested in the 4" ones - please could you tell me if the 4" is the overall size, or does it refer to another dimension (e.g. just the cone)?
Cheers,
Paul

Pretty sure it means the outer metal ring (excluding the metal tabs) is 4". I'll measure them when I get home to be sure for you

That would be great - cheers! (Apologies for that being such a noob question - I've never done anything with car audio until about a fortnight ago )

Right, the 4" ones are just over 4" across the metal trim - about 10.5cm (how's that for mixing metric and imperial! lol) across the metal rim.
Cheers, Martin

Have you still got the 16.5cm speakers? I'm interested, but would need them posted, is that a problem?

Yep, still got 'em and posting them is no problem - just might take me a couple of days to get 'em packaged and sent due to how/where I work! Postage will be about £7 at a guess.
Cheers, Martin

Cheers, Martin Many thanks for taking the time to check. Unfortunately they're just a tiny bit too big for where & how they'd be mounted (attached by the front, not the back) so I'm going to have to give them a miss
