I'm open minded to all suggestions, but would love an old Volvo 340/360.
The Polo is in a good solid condition for its age, minimal rust and just the odd ding or dent. I suspect it has had a respray sometime in its past due to the great paintwork.
The GT conversion was carried out by myself in September of last year, the conversion consisted of a mk3 1.3 engine out of a 1991 GT, 5 speed GT gearbox, GT anti roll ball, MK3 fuel system. It still has the original mk2 exhaust with no cat. It pulls very well, and is what you can call a sleeper.
During the conversion new suspension arms and CV’s were replaced. I have a green induction kit which I have not got round to fitting, this will need a bracket fabricating.
It pulls very well indeed and is what you can call a sleeper.
The shell has done just under 100k.
I bought the engine conversion of some nice chap who said it had also done around 100k, which is believable due to the good state of the engine and gearbox.
It’s a 1.0 litre on the logbook, so some cheap insurance for a nice nippy car.
Also has a nice grey coupe S interior that I recently fitted.
Some bad parts:
curse word chavy alloy wheels(a nice amount of tread left)
The gear selector in a little awkward, but it’s easy to get use to. (Not a problem with the gearbox, as it was an issue before the gearbox change)
Tinted windows/sun strip??
No Tax or MOT, I could sort out if I’m offered a decent ride, as I suspect it will fly through the MOT.
Sooo, What do you have to offer?
