Hi guys,
Up for sale I have a 3x4 foot box trailer. I know this isn't particularly 'retro', neither strictly a car part, but could well be handy for someone for camping/picking up parts/tip runs or doing up to be 'retro' etc etc etc!!!
The trailer was my dads but he hasn't used it for while now, so he gave it to me. I considered chopping it about and making it into a motorbike trailer but its too good to molest.
When my dad got the trailer, albeit quite a few years ago, he completely stripped it down and had the frame galvanised and powder coated in black. The wooden sides and base were replaced with plywood with aluminium angle metal edges. The bearings have covered hardly any miles and are fine. There is a heavy duty tonneau (sorry for the spelling?) cover which he had specially made, which fits very snugly. The trailer also has a jockey wheel, 2x spare wheels and new lights. The hitch has a lock.
The trailer is really neat and well made and at the very most could do with a re-varnish and the wheels painted. At its longest/widest point the trailer is 6 x 4 foot, and is extremely light so can be easily lifted and stored in a garden, shed or alley...
Collection is from Sittingbourne, Kent, pictures available on request.
Price is £95......
Thanks for looking
Cheers, Mark (07763 704177)
