I like to power gadgets! I don't mean leave it running overnight or anything, but say I wanna run my engine for 5 mins at 11pm cause I've been charging my DS and phone all evening and quietly listening to music to get some charge in the battery I don't think thats unreasonable. I'm sure there will be a lot noisier things than my exhaust going on in the camp at that time. Dude, you are camping. Unplug yourself from your technology for a weekend.  I will have 8 large leisure batteries with me, one of which you are more than welcome to borrow. Look for a big beige/orange van with drunken idiots outside. |

I am something of an insomniac, so I need quiet things to do to stave off the boredom so I let those around me get SOME sleep, lol. I do appreciate what you're saying though - I think I was just in a pissy mood when I wrote that, I'd normally just find a solution without whining. Apologies for getting peoples backs up, though.. I may take you up on your offer, though - but it's equally likely I'll just drink the entire bottle of skittles vodka I'm preparing and forget all about technology til morning!  |
