Does anyone have a drawing of a Triumph Herald chassis that they could e-mail me, or a link to one on the web? My Google-fu must be weak as I can't find one. Thinking of building something but want to base it on a chassis that I can use that won't need to go through SVA/BIVA - it's a commercial hence the SVA mention. Herald chassis is about the right wheelbase.

Just found this: www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/triumph_herald_13_60_specifications.htmand this which you might be able to scale dimensions from using those in the diagram. I dare say there's something in one of the factory manuals I've got but I won't get a chance to look at them until next week now. Bug me by PM if you've not got anything by then

Oh, and a Spitfire chassis is this shape but shorter wheelbase than the Herald. Spitfire body has structural sills but if you put something else on top of a bare frame I dare say you could build suitable strength in.

I have a full set of blueprint plans for a wood/alloy special for herald chassis.. It's called a "Stanbury TT" I'll have a dig for them in a bit if anyone wants a look

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

SOC - thanks for the drawing, very useful. 948 - thanks for the offer, just checking feasability and getting an idea of the budget required at the moment.
