Yo! Hot Rod Flatz, we all know it's cool... and satin paint don't have to be black! Anyone got any examples of interesting colours of satin paint to give me some inspiration? This is my fave at the moment:

What's the longevity like? Is it a pain to keep clean? The flat royal(ish) blue on the Lambo looks AWESOME!

I don't have a pic of it, but there was a VERY nice satin blue met Bug... I think Dez knows the guy who built it. But the paint is a secret, apparently.

I've not found anywhere selling the hot rod flatz brand in the UK. Its also tricky and expensive to ship paint internationally (legally) as a small batch.
R-M do a flats range called Carisma (Karisma? I forget) which is very nice but very expensive. Great quality paint. IIRC that Golf which Hotwire likes is done in it
Of course the obvious (and budget) answer is to have flatting agent added to the colour of your choice. For example, the Ford shoebox (pic 2) could be Peugeot Blaze Yellow with a flat clear.
rmad's Falcon could be that nice Peugeot blue with a flat clear.
use imagination, not money LOL.

I should really save more pics to my HD and label them. I think e need Darren "Pix" W on the case, he's bound to have it! ;D

Shamelessly stolen from a C'n'C thread sometime last year I have to agree, the teal coloured Impala is epic, and don't think I use the word lightly

Can you add matting agent to synthetic paint? Was gonna paint the Carlton in shiny grey but satin green would look awesome.
