I'm putting my Jeep Cherokee up for sale as great though it is, it's just not me and I don't need 2 4x4s...
It's a late 1994 (1995 spec) Jeep Cherokee with the bulletproof 4.0 Litre straight six engine that I've converted to run on a single point Lambda controlled LPG system with a 90 litre tank in the boot.
It's in very good condition with no rust and only a couple of minor 'dinks' on the bodywork, nothing that's broken the paint though. It doesn't burn any oil or use any water. All the 2/4wd hi/lo work fine and the auto box shifts smoothly as you'd expect.
Interior is unmarked cream leather in very good condition, it's even got overhead compartments for your sunglasses and garage door opener! Has a compass (really!) and an outside temp display too. I've fitted an Alpine rad/cass head unit and a 6-disc changer in the back too.
It has diesel rear springs (to help with the weight of the LPG tank, and they lift it slightly too!). Comes with a full set (5) of standard wheels and road tyres, and a set of 4 mud tyres too, although I've never taken it off road (was going to, but it's too nice to get the inside all muddy!). Has a towbar with electrics too all I've towed was a small trailer with a V8/autobox on the back, obviously it didn't even know it was there...
Would possibly swap for something big, fast, comfy, V8 and RWD (I fancy an LS400...) or will sell for cold hard cash!
EDIT: Does around 16-17mpg on gas round town, which gives you the running costs of a 32-34mpg petrol car with lpg being half the price of petrol, so pretty cheap to run. It gives me around 18mpg on a (80+mph) run on gas, I imagine it'd hit 20mpg if you took it more sedate at 60mphish.
More pics can be taken on request!
