Mornin' Christoff...good weekend? The Metro belongs to someone else...I won't give you her name, but it begins with 'N'. The problem with the bumpstops is...I don't know where they are! It's got a strut front end, so I guess they're internal, I'm gonna have a word with Steve (DS hydraulics/air) and find out what he does. Good Weekend? - Yeah - faaaaantastic! - See here: retrorides.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1087809522Please tell 'N' that I am dissapointed with her! Bumpstops are under the piston covers on the dampers. Drop the strut, take apart strut, cut down bump stop. Bolt strut together. Bolt in strut. Easy!

Hey the Cressida looks as cool as custard! Its amazing how, by just lowering a car makes the shape more cohesive. I think car designers intend the wheels to fill the arches - but the engineers jack the cars back up to get the required suspension travel. All the Toyota needs, is some tinted windows, chain ring steering wheel and crush velvet interior

I took the Cressie down to Steve today...it seems the suspension on the front has run out of travel - it ain't going any lower without serious work (this is the point that Steve went into his 'let me bag it' sales speech!). It's a shame, but there you go. It still rides fine, and it does look good as it is!
