About 6 months ago i sent my log book of to declare the modifications as the car is registered as a 5 door silver estate car and as you may know it's now a 3 door satin dove blue van. Anyway they sent me a letter to list modifications which i sent back and withheld my log book. A month later and no reply except a reminder to say my tax was due on the vehicle went by then they sent me another form again to list modifications and return it. About 4 months went by and nothing was heard so I phoned them and after being given me the run around I was told they would phone me that afternoon. That was over a week ago and today I get a letter from DVLC giving me a date of 06/10/09 at a time I cannot make to take my car to VOSA test station in Norwich. The letter says if you have a problem with this time or date phone this number. The number dose not exist anymore so you get transferred to another. the next person transfers you to the relevant person who transfers you to the relevant office who knows nothing about it so transfers you again and this time no one answers the phone.
Ok Ill look up VOSA Norwich on the net and phone that number to get an answer machine with a choice of 3 that no 0ne answers. Now start again and after being transfered another 4 times I'm told it's nothing to do with us i'll have transfer you back to DVLC who transfers me to someone else who can't tell me anything but will call back this aftnoon. I could have driven the 30 miles to Norwich and had the test by the time all this has took, toss pots!!
