Okay starting from scratch. What tools do you need for working on cars?
From the most basic to the most complex. Which suppliers/makers would you reccomend.

Decent socket set in imperial and metric - SnapOn I thing are the best
Full set of imperial and metric spanners - again SnapOn
Roll punches Torque Wrench Extension bars Hammer Screw drivers Hex/star Drivers Drill Drill bits Wheel brace Jack Axle stands MIG welder Compressor + accessories Grinder
And plenty of elbow grease!
