this thought occured during an idle moment (what most people call work!)
In the days when our retro cars were shiney and new alloy wheels were a big deal. result most of our cars don't have em. So we go and buy them, which costs. These days even the shopping trolleys at Tesco's have alloy wheels and to add to this Johnny Seventeenyearsold is busy fitting 27in alloys to every old Nova or Clio that can pass an MOT.
I predict the result will be that when all these cars come to the end of their ves there will be such a glut of alloys wheels on hte market that homeless people will be giving them away on street corners! Result choice choice choice.
Human nature being what it is this will mean that suddenly everyone will be wanting "retro look" steel rims as fitted to 1.1 Escorts circa 1985. I recommend that all members here jump on the new steel look asap. I am prepared to "look after" any cast of alloys you may have in the meantime as I am at heart a generous soul.
(no really, there is point in here!)
