Avast has been kicking up a fuss about trojans in the ad banners on the general board.
Not seen it on any of the others, but it might be worth checking with proboards and see if any of the ad suppliers has had any infection issues.

I'm not bothered about the ads themselves, especially as they seem to be either generic, or aimed at stuff I've already googled for.
But the burst of trojans through .js files shows someone isn't paying attention to their server security.

Same here, my works laptop has anti virus software that has started having a pink fit every time I load RR. Recently it's been causing my browser (IE7) to crash and start 'not responding' too

Picked up a trojan from here last week on my work PC. No worries at home though with Firefox and an ad blocking add-on.

Adverts are disabled again across all the Proboards forums, let's see what happens there then! Hopefully they'll get rid of that sodding teeth one.

Your best bet is to use Firefox, and install the adblocker plug in. I never see any ads, not here or any other forums. You don't see them, you don't pick anything up off them. I have never had any trouble off this forum or any others with ads, and I am on a few including my own.
