whens the earliest i can pitch my tent? what are the toilet/shower facilities? (I believe these probably want improving - I'll come up with some constructive idea on how to do this later... maybe :/ ) Can I have an autojumble sale in the middle of the camping field on Saturday?  Can we have a breakdown of how to get a clubstand organised? It seemed very awkward in 09 with the club tickets being separate to the entry ticket and people getting confused over what they needed. Unless that was just me (but it wasn't lol). |

the drive in movie was ace last year, but over by us we were playing funk n disco with an i pod mixer and an fm modulator thingy through the cars,which seemed pretty popular so how about an ickle disco tent ...or a couple of gazebos pushed together and some decks, to be off by midnight of course!!

Theres a Maccy D's and a petrol station about 2mins down the road from the campsite, as for a takeaway, you''re camping, crack out the BBQ and slap some meat on it ;D

Won't touch Maccy d's, it's KFC or Burger King for me, (or a mixed kebab if there's a decent place nearby). BBQ equals cooler box and extra gear to cart round, plus I got a week's camping at the end of August so plenty of barbies then.

Yes. But. Now you've given us the idea ;D we NEED a drive-in movie! I've decided I WILL get to the gathering this year, after miserably failing to appear there in any form last time. Don't know what to expect but hoping it'll be cool just the same ;D One suggestion, can everyone wear jackets with their RR username stuck on the back? It'd make recognising people so much easier. Heh. |

Will there be some RR Gathering T-shirts available in plenty of time to put names and stuff on. I know there are T-shirts available and/or the logo, but might as well pump some monies into the RR fund as an added bonus? (I could blag that I'm south west as I am most of the time!) Think reversing the track would be good, didn't do it last time as the fear of crashing into the barriers was too much for my daily (Yep, I know, man up wet pants ) Will Retro Cars mag be there, especially as they won the prestigous best mag award. Finally, I'm willing to help out as I'll be coming from Hampshire not Suffolk so can be there earlier on the Saturday (Or even Friday??) I'm already excited ;D |

mass BBQ on fri/sat night?
might make settling down on friday better, by the time i had put my tent up and ate all my food it was too dark to have a decent look at the cars.
so i had to get drunk instead, which made the job equally hard in the morning ;D
