Scrappage scheme?? What the hell??

I just wondered what you all think off the scrappage scheme I work at thurleigh in beds and When u scrap a car it gets stored on the airfield I work and I see first hand the vehicles that are headed for the crusher just today iv seen 2 minis including an old m reg estate (the clubman??) and a 60s moggy minor a triumph dolly and numerous cars that would be ideal 1st cars for young drivers even cars to the right person are worth alot of cash I.e supras, 7-series bmws etc, the scheme in my eyes is just horrible what do you all think??

Totally pontless and i bet most of the cars you see are good ones owned by people who can afford to look after them while the shitters owned by people who can't afford to look after them alone buy a new car remain on the road. Makes my curse word boil

You hit the nail on the head right there I struggle to keep mine in the road iv seen a hell of alot of v-reg motors with no marks on then polos, golfs, mk3+4 astras, s and x type jags, xj6, it would make ur bottom lip go transporter after transporter of perfectly good cars!! Greer

It's rubbish and this is destined for the whinge bin - but scrappage is due to end at the end of Feb. Yay!
