That is rather funky isn't it. I like the animated 120Y with the hazard lights flashing, very cool The frames could use a little work, I can't see the buttons at the top, the frame properties need adjusting

There can't be many of those left in this country! One of my old schoolteachers had one in the early 80s, and I don't think I've seen one since!

It is I! Great to meet you guys today at the show, nice to experience the same enthusiasm/insanity to the unsung cars cause. Please excuse the ropey fortunecity site, I did it a few years back over a few days and the 'free' host can't deal with frames. In this day and age too. I've designed and coded a far better site but haven't got round to organising the hosting yet. The Silver 120A shown belongs to a Datsun Club member. The car was hangin'. Absolutely perished, the rust on it was horrific. And the brave man, restored it to perfection, as you can see. My one bodily has a ding (actually a constellation of dings) on every panel, and bizarrely the roof was used as a trampoline by a previous owner (something to do with a festival and booze). But...it is structurally sexy and body wise relatively free of serious rust. I'm in the process of an engine transplant, I fitted the damn thing and then realised that I forgot to fit a sump gasket. Doh! Absent-minded idiocy like this explains why my knuckles are constantly bleeding.

Yeah, welcome to this haven for retro modders.
And welcome to the human race ;D
What engine are you shoving in, same but better, or something silly, non-original and powerful?

As the original lump died (thats why I only paid £90 for it!) I'll be doing something to the replacement lump - its only a 1200, but those only Datsun A12 engines are highly tuneable! Samarui got one to sub 8 seconds 0-60, which is not bad for the early seventies......
Question is when will I get round to it....

Go on, you know you want to ;D
Sounds like a good plan, especially the sub 8 second 0-60 time
