Yup, very close to where it was taken.......The OP for this on a different forum PM'd me to say it had been recovered by the law but the condition was unknown at the time. At least it's been recovered though.

It's very common to hear that cars are recovered near where they are stolen.
When my Wife's Justy was taken, the police followed it at 2am out of a side road 2 roads away from when it was taken (at 6pm).
Problem is though, in many cases the recovery company used are just as shady as the car theives. Looking at the mileage difference between when the car was taken and when it was recovered means it didn't have time to stop. Funny how the CD player was neatly removed, and the aux wires were neatly coiled up on the passenger seat.
In this particular model of Justy, removing the radio requires removing large portions of the dash. Something that took me and a mate the best part of an afternoon to do.
