I know this is destined for the winge bin, but what in the hell. Whats is going on with some people using the for sale ads on here of late. People cannot follow simple rules and regs and put no effort into the advert. Prime examples Make me a offer / no price . . . No photos of whats for sale No info where item is for sale Lazy link to ebay page. Totally awful spelling/pigeon english/text speak.
I know i havent a high post rate before i get roasted but a lot of the adverts with the above issues seem to be from 1st posters.
I suggest that the for sale area should be available to users after an amount of posts or been registered a period of time. RANT OVER

must admit a do agree on the amount of posts rule. messaged people before with very low posts and they have never even got back to me! maybe it should be that you cant post for sale until you have 50 posts... this thread hasnt got long..........

Usually Oldbus is all over these issues (and we (as mods) get heat for that some times) but I think he has been super busy lately, I'll try and pick up for any mods that are crazy busy, but I've been buried deep in sorting out RRG 2010.
Sorry folks... I WISH people would just read the simple rules of the For Sale section and for the Readers Rides section as it would save us a LOT of moderating time.

its not all first timers. there certain repeat offenders- usually people who put up a hole load of ebay links, and its the ebay links that curse word me off more than anything. if you want to sell it, sell it, for a fixed price with pictures and contact details in the advert. if you want to auction it, f-k off to ebay and auction it. don't use a f/s thread on here to drum up interest in your auction. then, some people are just too plain stupid to write an advert. its not their fault, they're just too thick to read the thread at the top of the page telling you how to do it. ok, so sometimes people forget one peice of information, usually location, but if you don't put up pics or a price in your advert, you don't really deserve to have a thread running wasting forum space, so it should be removed. just my 2p

Is there anyway to have an enforced wizard for sale posts with mandatory fields. Should make oldbus's mod duties easier !
