Scotch Corner - 10.45
Wooley Edge - 12.30

That should be plenty of time? Leave Scotch Corner by say 11?

Then meet up with the rest en route?

Well I am in Nottingham and there is usually a Convoy from M42 (Tamworth Services) so you could just Tap on that mate.

Do you want to meet me and the other (not so) northern rabble at Woolley Edge services just south of Wakefield?

I was planning on setting off around 12ish, with a view to arriving there no later than 6ish.
So maybe 12.30 - 1pm at Woolley edge?
Bearing in mind that I'll be towing so won't be making any sort of swift porgress... 65 all the way

Wooley Edge? Now you're talking my language mate, I could drive there in me sleep. Slow progress is fine, cost me a fortune in petrol last year, and this year I'm (hopefully) bringing 2 cars. I might have to keep breaking rank to chase after quick moderns, it's a compulsion I have.

il be honest here, stopping to collect people, sitting about waiting for people to turn up and driving so the slowest car can keep up p155 me off royaly, so il be heading down on my own.

Will be driving down, and if I see a bit of a convoy I will tag on, but like Dave says, waiting around for somebody can be a bit of a pain, especially if they then drive along at 50mph . Expect to see me driving the panda down at a contant 70mph, and if you car is doing the same, then I will be following you

Edit - I will be at Scotch Corner for 10.45am and will hang around for 10 minutes, then Wooley Edge at 12.30pm and hanging around there for another 10 minutes. If people want to stay a bit longer, then i will be going on ahead, and everyone else can catch up
