Ok, we got the retro cars retro cars thread, what about a retro films thread?

Rules are, it has to be genuinely retro, and it has to have at least some retro car content. (better if a lot of the scenes are on the road/ in car)

Maybe it would be worth mentioning a scene or car in the film of note.

We could go through all the obvious stuff, road movies and the like, then maybe just movies with cool old cars in.



So to state the obvious, Mad max, Duel, Corvette summer etc, etc, etc... but lets get deeper than that and go for more subtle films (Eg, Get Carter (great line, "Sorry about that, here, get yourself a course in Karate"))

C'était un rendez-vous

for those of us who want a car fix without sitting through something like smokey and the bandit waiting for the Rods scene!
