Couple of possible retro Scrap Yard saves

Spotted today, the Morris Minor was £350 and the Skoda didn't have a price.

They both need work but looked well worth saving.

They are in London Auto Parts (Hunters) in Perivale NW London.









Hope they're of some use to someone.

Wow, that Skoda is awesome and really needs to be saved. I never thought I'd see the day where I chose a Skoda over a classic British Moggy, but there you go - the Skoda wins on both style & rarity.

I must admit I was taken by the Skoda, but alas the space I don't have will prevent me saving.

It was in fairly good nic, looks like it had been sat in a garage and just pulled out. A little scabby on the front valance but that's all I could see on a quick look over it. Really is salvageable.

wow, £350 is cheap for a Moggy in any condition in my experience... but I think I'd want the Skoda if I had to choose. Just a shame I haven't the time, space or money to take on either right now

There's a guy near my who drives one of those skodas as his daily, good condition too, shame he's a bit of a dick! (long story which I won't go into, but trust me, lord dickington the third!)

Just been told the Skoda is parts only. But it can't be scrappage as it hasn't had an MOT.

I reckon if you were to go down there it would be for sale.

I cant imagine them wanting to cause themselves greef breaking it , as theres not a huge market, A quick cash sale to get rid would make more sence (IF THEY COULD)

if its been off the road for that long then I'm guessing it could have the old style v5 doc so would that cause an issue of re-registering?
