British RallyCross Rd 7. Blyton. Sept 12th 2010

Blyton Park Circuit nr Gainsborough hosts round 7 of the MSA Quaife British Rallycross Championship on Sunday September 12th 2010. See the top british Rallycross drivers in action in their 500+ BHP Supercars, on 1 of the fastest RallyCross circuits in the country. These top class supercars accelerate from 0-60mph in under 2 seconds, and hit speeds approaching 130+mph down the back straight.

Practice starts at 10am, with the heats starting around 11am, and ending with the Superfinals around 5pm.

Well worth the run down mate. Do you still have the FordSport meets? I used to have the black Mk2 LHD Escort Estate, and the blue Mk3 Escort Estate

i heard it got taken over by some rich folk, and it appears they actually have proper stuff on now!

I new a few people who used to banger race on that track until they got kicked off lol

The same people still run the Rallycross circuit etc, but it has a new owner who plans on making a lot of changes over the next couple of years. They did the right thing kicking off the OVAL circuit, as it has opened up the venue to a lot more potential. As well as the Rallycross, it hosts 2 single venue rallies each year, the grasstrack club meets, sprints, and other events.

Nice one! I've been to a few track days at blyton (and destroyed the suspension and tyres on a 106 in about 20 laps every time) and heard that the place was going to be closed. Nice to see it's getting a cash injection!

yes mate,up untill recently.a few people got a bit anal and childish so were having a break and hopefully itll sort itself out soon,mind you,its an excuse to be here more ;D
