I think a Porsche 935 was the first Tamiya model car kit I ever built, aged about 9 I reckon. I'll always have a soft spot for them for that daft reason alone. I love hoe fo all the added aerodynamics and length they are still recognisably a 911.  |

I had a radio-controlled model 935/78 when I was a kid. It looked fabulous but it was rubbish compared to the cars my schoolmates had because it was so low - it'd only work properly on lino so I always lost when it got to the tricky living-room-carpet section of the rallycross sprint ;D

 Schnell indeed  That is awesome - you have to love ultimate versions of road cars (even if there is basically no road car left in it...  ) Especially loving the lines of the bodywork and the big-and-littles, can kind of see where Bosozoku (and Hotwheels for that matter) get some of their inspiration from Ooh, and exposed gearshift linkage - tasty. |
