I'd never heard of him before this evening, either. However, please observe videos and photo and join me in his reverence ;D Qualifying avec traffic - Entry into eau rouge - Exit from eau rouge / radillon entry - What footwork; what slip angles; What a f*cking hero

Superb, I love the going around the outside of the E-type and then passing the Lotus Cortina all crossed-up bit of the first video ;D

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

That car is on the knife-edge of being all-about-backwards throughout the entire video, even on the straights- looks to get a bit squirrelly at high speed. Awesome stuff, thanks for posting.

Incredible control. Watched the videos before seeing that big photo. Goes to show the balance that is possible with relatively thin rubber where wide modern rubber would probably just let go all of a sudden. It really doesn't look like there's room for his legs in there either. Just superb.

That's fantastic. Shows what it really takes to drive a classic 911 on the limit.

Brillant car control!
I went to Spa yesterday, but I didn't see him driving.
I did see some rain though.

I have had it all wrong all this time: the driver is Roman Caresani and i think our Pascal had a hand in the prep of the car.
The og video was taken down but i have purloined another copy for the viewing pleasure of those yet to see this 911 masterclass:

I missed that the first time round. Awesome skills, a lesser man would have binned that on many occasions. Any footage from outside so we can see how heroic he's being?
