Great car for sale on behalf of my mums friend.
She is a doctor and has owned this since 2004
its got 197000 motorway miles but has been serviced religiously by main dealer.
Good points
NOW HAS 6 MONTHS TAX

power steering
4 dealer fitted mudflaps
cambelt water pump done @ 180000
everything works as it should.
Drives like a car of half the mileage
interior is very clean

Bad points (very few)
only one key
glovebox lid catch broken
Bit of rust drivers arch
Boot lid bottom edge is also showing rust.
chip on top edge above windscreen on roof (size of 10p piece)
Thats it really polishes up pretty nicely.

Good luck with the sale. I have a 1999 Golf TDi in Silver that's done 217,000 miles and drives like new (after replacing the clutch). These seem to be more or less bulletproof. I regularly get 55mpg out of mine (urban) and averaged over 70mpg when coming back from Nottingham the other week (with careful driving)

Ive covered 500 miles this week and still have a qtr tank of diesel left
