	Hi there, my name is Mark and I am...... trying to make this not sound like I am filling in a form for a dating site. I happened across the forum by chance and I like some of the stuff on here. I am a bit of a car nut myself. Last year I spent several months rebuilding a 306 GTI6 as a daily driver. I suppose it is a bit too new and the power is at the wrong end for most of you. This is it anyway...... From this Via this To this I don't suppose you are interested in it though? I also have a long term project. (only way I can afford to do it) I have had it ten years now and it started out like this...... You may recognise this as the entrance to the Nordschleiffe I want to build it into a semi lightweight sport purpose type hot rod. Windey windows, Recaro seats, electric sunroof delete,things like that. Got the urge to take the grinder to it one day after work! It is now in bits and since spending far longer than I expected on my French thing I am struggling to motivate myself to get back into the shed to work on it. I have a few pics if you are interested?

Well, I was just going to put an engine in it but when I got it stripped down I realised that it had had a whack at some time in the past. I ended up doing a bit more than I had planned for. Mrs Tea was not over keen on me having an engine in the house. ;D
