Thats why I think the style works on a bike but not on a car, the panels are smaller and looks less busy, less ''in your face'', and would suit details on a car? Hmmmm, I have a fuel cap...

some of those are amazing, some real talent but i wonder how long the ink will hold up to the constant UV light before it fades

The Lambo looks amazing, it really suits it's angular shape.
Me and a friend were discussing it the other day at work actually. He was saying that apparently the guy who did the work on the Lambo did his own mountain-bikes frame first, and was then approached by the Lambo owner and asked if he'd do the car.

I would love to do this to my wrinkled bonnet, however I'm not sure I have the patience or skill for that matter.

Sharpie car; you're doing it wrong. But that's okay, because these guys are doing it right. Nice alternative to a vinyl wrap. This is the before... they make cars out of plastic now? Older BMWs had more metal. I suppose this *could* be done with Sharpie pens, if you were patient enough. I prefer the idea of only doing certain panels of the car in this style, but I'm sure it's pretty easy to get carried away and do the whole thing.

Its times like these that I really wish I had some artistic ability! This combines my love of this Artwork and Fiero's!

pretty darn awesome really, the Lost Boys Skyline had its own thread on here somewhere, the sheer amount of work that went into it was outstanding!!

How about Shapie outlines of UK race circuits? Or taking the car down to the local art college and letting them loose with it?

I left a sharpie in my pocket the other day and it went through the wash. Was most impressed when it still worked perfectly but didn't have sticky 'car' residue on it from garage use ;D

Ben: What happened to the clothing that had the Sharpie filled pocket? I'm hoping for some interesting accidental tie-dye.

I think it's pretty, I've got a spare bonnet I might give it a go when I've got a few hours spare at the garage.

Volksangyl: Nothing at all, Sharpies appear not to have the holes to stop you choking on them so they are totally sealed when the lid's on. I was quite pleased/relieved as the good lady would not have been amused.
