The Manics were better with Richey, don't you think?
Ah, but with the Cure they'd be depressed, lonely, and afraid of being eaten by spiders! (with candystriped legs etc...)
"The spider-man, is having me, for dinner to-night!" etc...
Or Radiohead they'd end up schizophrenic and paranoid (that's what happened to me! ;D)
Although this is a wee bit off subject. (doesn't mean it's not fun, eh? ;D)

The manics went soft after Richie left, the best tune they've done since he left is Judge yourself and even that was a lacklustre effort.
Burn by the Cure, featured in The Crow, we could make the little feckers watch that ;D
That'll mess them up

Something we all wish our cars were. Faster
The intense humming of beetles?
Life becoming a Landrover?
Gold against the SAAB?
From repair to where?
Thats quite enough manics songs butchered for one night ;D

Then we'll move on to other bands!
Radiohead: Karmann Police? ;D
Hendrix: Cross Town Trabant?
Sex Pistols: Pretty Vabis? (What do you mean you've never heard of a Scania-Vabis lorry?)
I'm out of them. More later

There are loads of songs written about your wheels. The Beatles had Revolution and Revolution #9 (yes that's where my name on this board comes from! ) for a start. Motorhead: The Ace of spades (AC Ace, no?) The Beatles: Nowhere M.A.N. (M.A.N diesel, pioneer of the diesel lorry) Manic Street Preachers (an album this time): This is my Puch, Tell me yours. (Steyr and Puch, made engines, like the one in the Isetta) The Jam: That's entertainment (they were watching me trying to get my Imp running right! ;D)
