When do the following events start?

Nottingham Cattlemarket
The Griffin, Pappelwick
Ashby Folville
Festival Inn, Trowell
Triumph club thing
NSRA/NASC type meets out Hinkley way
Transport Museum @ Ruddington
MFN
etc.

There was some classic car thing going on at Mansfield too

Do the Derby Ram Rods still meet up anywhere?

I've been wondering when the Griffin's Head thing was starting up again. Looking forward to that!
Hopefully we'll continue to be spoilt for choice of meets like we were last year.

There's a local Triumph meet in Stanton but I never managed to make it last year - hopefully the person who posted the details last time will do the same this year.

Charnwood Cruisers Midday meet
At Diner Bites in the layby just going north out of Loughborough to Hathern.
Meeting at 12oclock 1st and 3rd saturday of every month between April and October 2011.

I've found last year's Calendar entry for the Triumph TR / Retro meet at the Seven Oaks pub in Stanton.

I'm hoping that vc57ian will be able to furnish us with details of this year's meets. I'd PM him but he hasn't logged in since last year and the TR Register Trent Group's website looks like it hasn't been updated in a fair while, with what looks like outdated meet info.

This is a copy of a list I received a couple of weeks back.
I am yet to confirm, but I think these meets run from April onwards.
(The Stanton event runs all year round. I'll find out exactly when it's gonna turn from an indoor to an outdoor meet)



TR Register - Trent Group Monthly Meeting, The Seven Oaks Inn, Low's Lane, near Stanton-by-Dale, DE7 4QU 1st Thursday from 7 ish if weather good in summer


Classic & Sports Car Meeting
The CROWN, Shardlow near M1 J24 1st Tuesday from 6.30 ish if weather good Informal meeting attended by a wide variety of marques – can get very very crowded!


Classic & Sports Car Meeting
Griffin’s Head, Papplewick, Notts 1st & 3rd Wednesday from April to Sept – 6 p.m.


Carrington Arms, Ashby Folville
(north Leicester off A46/A607) 2nd Tuesday evening of the month Classic/vintage/anything interesting meeting. Lots of parking, barbecue, outside bar.

I've just confirmed with the landlord of the Griffin, first one is Wed 6th April ;D

I'm told theres also a good event every 1st Thursday at Oakerthorpe near Alfreton. A friend of mine went all through last year. I'm just trying to find out the details so I can add to the list above

This is still alive and kicking.............as I attend great crowd..........

Great info guys, the season is getting started!

I'm going to try to make the Griffin next Wednesday and the TR meet on the Thursday, depending on what fuel is in the tank and other such things.

Ah haven't done the Griffin for ages! Although its a slog from Lincoln now. Haven't done the limes for a while either, used to do the VW meets there that occasionally clashed the RR meets. Unfortunatly next one clashes with Newark Autojumble so I'll have to decide if I need parts or bacon.

Did a local one last night, last thursday of the month at The Woodcocks, Burton Waters, Lincoln. Was fairly quiet but apparently can draw 60 / 70 vehicles in the height of the summer.
When I was there got a load of entry forms for other local stuff that might be of interest...
