buy cheap buy twice
I only buy tools now with a lifetime warranty as ive had to many skinned knuckles from tools sliping/breaking
picture this your car breaks down its raining you get your cheap tools out thinking you will be on your way in a few mins then the spanner just slips round that tight nut.

depends how far you go and if you mean the law or insurance if you swap a 1100 engine for a 1300 engine then just dvla/insurance if you go from a 1100 ford engine to a 3liter rover engine then you will most likely need a engerners report for the insurance and dvla.

most of what you want is always on e bay make sure you count the teeth on the sprocket so you get the right one I wouldn't buy a pull start till you get it running.

most of them don't have names I have 3 1 runner and 2 for spares, love the angle iron! what do you need?
I would also fit a chain guard to yours before you use it,and front mudguard looks like its the wrong way round.

This is the sort of thing I love this place for, just my cup of tea. Of course, now you've made me realise what my Princess really needs is some murals down the flanks, but what on earth of? Obviously, it would have to be something Mumford style, not just the humdrum fantasy and sci-fi stuff, but something properly relevant to the car and to me as the owner. This has got me thinking about a whole new set of ideas to set off the planned purple paint and Lotus restyling. the longbridge factory with a street scene with 80s cars and the front of your princess poking out of a garage/sideroad.

I don't like it,i just don't get it it looks like 2 square boxes with a bmw engine stuck on the front and 4 wheels stuck on the side abit like how a 5 year old might draw a car.
but iam sure theres a lot of skill and fabricating gone into it and just getting that engine to run would take more skill than I have and I am glad that there are people around to build stuff like this.
