1990 Mercedes 190E 2.0 Petrol My new baby ;D Right now i'm looking to get rid of the two tone; spraying the gunmetal grey plastic, gloss black, to make me look like even more of a drug dealer! Any advice on amounts of paint/primer would be greatly appreciated!

Looks clean! Colour matching the lower part of the body will make a big improvement. And welcome to the forum!

Had a small accident regarding a badly placed tree over the weekend, Heres the damage, And After a little "persuasion" with a mallet: A huge shame, baring in mind how pretty it was. I've found a new panel for £100, and everything mechanically seems fine, drives as it did. I'm not sure weather to shell out for the welding, as i've already spent coming up to £2k on it, or sell it on and get something new. Suggestions?

Yeah i think i will. It's far to pretty to get rid of.
It gives me an excuse to fit an AMG bumper and spray the plastic that i've been meaning to do...

Damn shame.I take it the rear 'Stepped out' Looks like its worth doing.If you sell as is,you'll only get shirt buttons for it

Then it's decided, to the body shop i go! Hopefully to weld the panel in and to respray shouldn't be more than £300/£400, if i use a guy that a friend recommended.
I'll post pics when it's done in a couple of weeks!
Cheers for a second (third, fourth?) opinion!

Haven't updated this in a while, Just a few pics from my work laptop, of how she's looking now The rear still only has a 40mm drop, so I'm rolling with rake for the time being, Thoughts?

Very very nice is my thought.... I have a soft spot for old Mercs and the 190 is the best.. Stance looks good, rear needs to go down though.... Wheels are great.

Wasn't entirely comfortable with running the offcuts from my front springs, on the rear, so we cut the, stiffer, rear lowering spring about 1/2 - 1 coil taller than the offcut from the front standard spring... if ya get me I've always thought slammed cars are stupid, but its really not that bad, gets a few looks around the place!

was the panel repaired? Also is this still so low? Do you have the standard springs?
Just asking as you were looking for swaps. Also roughly how much do you value the car at?
