When you have done this one I can send you an escort one that is about an inch higher and and inch back on the drivers side with an interesting twist on the rack mounts

I didn`t even notice that when I dropped it out.......even Evil G didn`t either. The shell was was fine with no evidence of crash damage anywhere so how can something like a cross member get so bent?

Like it mate. Love the contrast idea with the engine bay and body colour. Looks fantastic. I've always had a soft spot for the Chevettes too, never owned one though I regret to say. She's going to really be fantastic when all's done, looking forward to seeing more updates and progress.

Glad to catch up with this car again.
I have a secret hankering for a Chevette, it also happens to be the car Nicola learned to drive in.

Mark - serious Q here - how do you manage to get through this much on bodywork so quickly? I'm going nuts trying to get panels flat - filled - flat again etc.... and you're on the way to completion in a fraction of the time. Beggars belief...... I really do not understand when/where I'm causing so many f***-ups but I must be! Glad to see this will be on the roads again soon...... excellent work mate. John
