No real updates TBH got a contract to clear a washing machine repair shop so once or twice a week i take away 8 washing machines and parts, still not got over 530 Kgs in the back (thats what 8 WMs weigh ;D) earnt me ni-on a grand is frag over the last 6 months so i decided to wash it Then drive in to the woods and get it muddy again for some pics ;D I really REALLY need some front 8 spokes !! either ford 4 stud or granada/merc 5 stud so i can remove the PCD adapters and fit the things in the arch ! Nudge bar worked out well, 2 foxes and a deer later, we have dents i wont mention the poor sod on the motorbike that i hit when the clutch ratchet snaped at a roundabout , truck lept forward i stamped on the brakes but it wouldn't come out of gear and the engine mount colapsed, engine dropped and pulled the throttle on full bloody fluid filled engine mounts But thanks to the wibbly wobbly marker i havn't caught any cars in tesco yet ;D Rear end needs some sort of nerf bars but i need to still be able to drop the tailgate, i have some bus handles (thick tubling that's knurled on the outside) i might use ?? That is all, twas an early day so thought i'd anoy you lot with pointless posts about nowt

Again not done a lot (read fook all) to the truck since my last post, it has flown through the MOT with no adviseries and just a quote from the tester " fook me it's mint under here! I expected it to be snapped in half wit hall the curse word you carry" ;D Gave it an oil and filter change and carry'd on fragging In the last month it's done 8 ton of rubbish and 7 ton of scrap cos the local council have seen fit to fit trackers to all the flytip lorrys to stop them running in iron cost the council 3000 per vehical for the first year and around a grand a year there after just to stop the blokes having a small perk, fooking tossers the council now pay the same company that used to pay the blokes in the vans for the scrap to take the scrap away (no wonder this fooking country in in shat street with morons in charge !) so now they come to me and a split the bridge payments with them keeps me busy ;D Anyhoo in honor of the MOT and working so hard I bought it 2 new tyres, NEW tyres fist new tyres in 20 odd years painted the 8 spokes was concidering keeping em matt red but got the satin black out instead ;D sorry for the curse word phone pics though TBH my camera aint mutch better So this is how it stands now, might rub it down and spray some fresh nato green on over the winter and I really need to sort some from wheels or swap the 4 8spokes for 2 banded transit steels ;D I like that idea way better, anyone got some ?

Well I never did get round to painting it, or washing it again Still running frag, still needs the front wheels changing, still needs a new roller coat I did fit a new boost compensator to fix a leak caused by too high a cooking oil mix (goes a bit better now as well as more MPG) oh and I added 300Ml of oil to the engine, not bad oil use for 3089 miles ;D As you can see from my new sig, it sailed through the winter and never got stick once, well not stuck perminantly anyway dropped the rear tyre PSi and got out every time I love my truck

Why thank you my good sir ;D been travellering the rear brakes today needed to skim the rust lip off to get the drums back on with the shoes far enough out to get a decent handbrake (currently at 6 clicks but I prefer about 4 so started to grind it off A team styley 4th gear on idle seems about right add some 80 grit paper, all sorted AND I still have all me fingers and toes and not a nun harmed (although a kitten may have been a bit scared in the process)

well appart from working it's off with garage and garden clearances, tree chopping and the weekily frag run i have done fook all to it, oh appart from added the missing bolt to the alt (the one i forget to put on when i fitted the engine 3 years ago opps) no more alt belt sqeeling for the first 100 yards I did have a touvh the other day, after chopping down a tree and clearing a garage amongst the tat i found an RS steering wheel boss and horn push (what are the odds of that ? ) A quick lick of satin black (allways have a can handy) I'll get in the garage and find me spare RS wheel and pop it on see how long i can use it before i ruin it with dirty hands

Haha, I've got a tasty grey leather wheel on the transit bought from a chap on here many moons ago. It feels much nicer on the mits than the big fat thing my smiley came with but looks a right 2&8 now covered in oil and grease. P.S I'd only ever by prepared to part with 2 of my banded tranny rims in exchange for your truck, I'll throw in tomorrow mornings frag money to sweeten the deal, what da ya say? Here's to returning old fords to the bridge time and time again

Cheers chaps trouble is nothing ever really happens to it, it just plods on so little to report maybe i shouldn't have said that but at least if sunink goes wronge i'll have sumnik to post about Mind you the MOT is up in 3 months and there is a re-rollering on the horizon (same nato green so no getting excited about flames or owt sorry) I really want to lift it at the front and fit all 4 wheels ! oh and fit a bench seat, get laid in it, go faster than 80 MPH (with ear plugs) ect ect so there may be some updates (not on the getting laid in it) Wheel on later today then some more pics

The truckman top wont fit over it no but it never fitted over the origional ladder rack so no change there, in fact to remove this bar is 2 less bolts than the origional one and this one was free well it cost me £8 in paint

So 6 months later and i have actually had to spend some money on it new rad and starter and i've fitted a car gearbox as the ratios are way, way better than the commercial ratios that it came with Also fitted leccy mirrors and got the C/L working (3 years after i fitted it) oh and i had to insert some new brake pads and i finaly put some diesel shocks and springs on so the front is lifted 2 inches now. Amyway on to boredom They say things are bigger in the USA so that meens things are smaller in the UK, no? Anyhoo after watching the whole first series of the dukes of hazard i got bored and decided to cut up a belt buckle the trouser kind not the seatbelt kind It's either do something stupid of get drunk when i'm bored and stupid is free
