hidden in plain sight... I had been tipped off about this cache of abandoned sports cars by a mate who didn't know what they were, other than that they would interest me. So I went to the location I was told about and found... Loads of Nissans. Many of which have obviously been here a long, long time. But whats this? DVLA check says it is real! Stag is a tax exempt one. More Nissans.... He really dropped it in the weeds yo! Ford Granada They are all SORN (well the ones I checked) There is a house adjacent which seems pretty derelict. What's the story?

Very cool find. Looks like someone has an expensive habit if they are all accounted for with Sorn though..

I know some Zclub members would be *VERY* interested in saving the Nissans if the owner is contactable and wishes to part with them.

Almost all of them are automatics I happened to notice.
I know nothing other than I'm amazed that they've not been removed by the council, scrap thieves nor torched or vandalised.

Got a real craving for a 308. It does come up as 'Ferrari' on a plate check, but also states it as 2.8l, should be 3.0l no? Looks like some of the detailing's a bit wrong, could be an early glass fibre one, so bodywork wouldn't give it away. Could a kit be registered as ferrari!? Interior shots (and obviously engine shots) would give it away for sure. Nice find, don't suppose you fancy telling me where this wonderfull collection is

It does come up as 'Ferrari' on a plate check, but also states it as 2.8l, should be 3.0l no? That's weird. Could it be an early US import - seem to remember they might have been emissions-strangled 2.8s...? I could be completely wrong. It's happened before.

Hang on a sec - it's on a C-plate. Didn't they stop making the 308 in '85, and replace it with the 328 in '86?

Something doesn't quite look right about the ''Ferrari''. Think it's something to do with the scoop on the door and the rear pillar, the proportions just look a bit dodgy. Never know though, I could be talking rubbish. Good kit if it's a kit.... Shame about all the Nissans, especially the JDM import ones that someone went to all the trouble of importing for them to end up like that EDIT: Just realised, aren't Fieros powered by a 2.8 V6?

ooooo what an interesting collection, 300zx manuals are rare anyway aren't they? The convertible one is as well! As for the Ferrari I'm pretty sure it's a kit, several things don't sit right. Mirrors are aftermarket add ons Wheels are probably compomotive split rims (308 centres were pentagonal not circular) side repeator is not recessed no door handle on the top of the door Screen doesnt have enough curvature etc etc
taking nothing away from the fact that it is a pretty sweet find though, I'd be excited by it kit or no kit.

going by what I can see on Google images, on a hard top 308 GTS there should be windows and not vents behind the doors and the rims shouldn't be splits (but could always have been aftermarket). Pls the engine cover doesn't match up with my extensive (2 mins ) research either I recon it is of American origin
