A few years ago I bought a job lot of Fiat spares. Included in them were a few NOS Fiat Regata bits. From my original forsale ad (November 2008) NOS Grilles NOS Ignition ECU NOS Indicator NOS headlight (has indicator lense) Rear light chrome trim (I think) Full set of aftermarket Uno Turbo style plastic arch extensions All shown in this pic I never had any enquiries about the parts, and have ebayed them a few times with the same results. However I really don't want to bin them, as they could be useful (the ECU was £209 when it was bought new). There are only 18 Regata's left according to howmanyleft. Any ideas how I can seek out the owners to see if the parts will be useful to them. Matt

Any classic Fiat specialists you can give them too? They're likely to come across the owners of said cars one day.
I admire you trying to get them to a good home - good luck!

Matt,
If you have no luck finding any owners, I'd like to take that stuff off your hands. A Fiat Regata is on my "list" - the "I WILL own one" list. I have space to keep parts until I get one so no issue there - I have loads of parts for cars I don't own anymore/yet lol.
Cheers

Could try the Fiat Forum, seems to deal with a lot of modern stuff now, but you never know who's lurking.

wow, my 1st road legal car was a regata, i ended up selling it back in the late 90's because no 1 did parts for it, the odd few bits fiat had were stupid expensive £80 for a nut that went ontop of the rear shocker. i kept mine going by using broomhill scrap yard near barnsley they were full of regatas, i swear he used to get them knowing id be in after a month to buy an exhaust as they snapped regualy. next owner wrapped it round a lamp post.
have a look on some of the youtube vids for regatas, people sometimes ask for bits on there. I'm shocked there was no intrest on ebay. there was a regata estate on ebay a few weeks ago.

if there was no interest from ebay that suggests they were too expensive. most fiat dealerships just skip the obselete stuff, I know, I have skipdipped quite a few fiat / Lancia bits and pieces in the past. I know a man who might be interested, I have emailed him a link.

Full set of aftermarket Uno Turbo style plastic arch extensions.
This I think you can get some money for due to Uno turbo is now a populare youngtimer like the Mk1/2 Golf GTI, Peugeot 205 GTI etc. If you cant sell it in UK, I guess you will be able to sell it on the continent.
Try to contact some classic Fiat clubs national and international and tell them that you have some rare parts for sale is my idea. I had one Regata my self - fantastic cheap nippy car who I miss today!

Nobody on fiatforum was interested. Also ebay ad was 99p no reserve for the lot and didn't even get a watcher.
78dude - The arches are specific to the Regata, which has a squared off rear arch so they won't fit an Uno.

It's depressing how hard it can be to offload stuff at no personal gain.
I tried to contact the Datsun OC back in about 2004 to give away some parts for E10 Cherrys and never got a response, but I did eventually manage to give somebody off here with a van version a new front wing.
After finding it so hard to give good quality rare parts away, and then also getting a lot of 'banger racers are scum' curse word shortly afterwards, I'm afraid I started throwing a lot of stuff into cars and scrapping it, and only made parts available for £ if somebody wanted to come and take them off.

If I was you put them on eBay again - but make an option so international bidders can see and make a bid on them. As mentioned of some one else, eBay in Italy can be a good idea! Brand new grille to an Alfa from the 80s new on eBay.it can cost around 50 to 300 euros. I don't know how much an ignition ECU can cost but you should be able to get some money from it... Headlamp is a RHD version? Can be some one in Oz or NZ who is looking for one? I hope they ends up in good hands!
