stunning looking car I thought the 3.0 liter was only in the early models or am I wrong? No the 3 litre was available in all versions of the capri, this capri has been restored to its original "out of the factory" condition. learn something new everyday

AFAIK the early Mk3s came with the Essex engine before they received the Cologne unit. That is one stunning restoration . Fresher than the factory in many aspects dare I say.

Stunning car, fantastic job on the resto My last 3.0S had those Sports seats in it, i actually found them more comfortable than the Recaros in my previous one. Lost count of the number of people who asked what i'd done with the Recaros Incedentally the four spoke RS type alloys were an option too, 3.0S's came with Ghia type alloys as standard, the wide 7x13 RS fourspokes were an over the counter accessory from Ford dealers.

Thanks, very much. Yes these wheels were available at the time, wanted to keep that way. This car actually at the RS fitted as an option.

I had an s and the wheels had flat washer nuts and seats not the usuall cone ones, was that particular to the S ? That's a real beuty you have there, it looks like a dam lot of work has gone into it i also preferd the sport seats but i have a fat that don't fit in a recaro that well ;D

Thanks very much mate, the MOT centre told me when they MOT'd it, that it was in better condition than when it would have come out of the factory. But just glad I am able to enjoy it.

A 3-litre Capri S has to be my ultimate Retro Ride (I had a 3-litre Ghia a couple of years ago which was damn tasty!)... This one looks perfect from every single angle and aspect and I love it!!! Can I have it please...?
