I was supposed to be going on sunday, but a last minute drop out meant an early start in the Beetle to put it on our clubs stand. Also meant a free ticket to get in! Once we were all set up and the gates had opened I unleashed my camera on the place. First stop the VW38, its a very long story, but its essentially a 1938 pre production Beetle thats been painstakingly rebuilt And this awesome Type60 K10 a streamliner version of it. There were so many little details to take in on both I was stood by them for almost half an hour. Photos do not do them justice. ;D

Thanks for the photos.. I decided to skip it this year as I've been for the past few. Looks like it was a great turn out again with a bunch of interesting cars. Jeans Beetle for me too.

it might be another east-german attempt to built a split bus-like (or in this case a bay-like) vehicle on a beetle chassis? Like this example (as one of a few): Every day is indeed a school day here. Please elaborate...

The Jeans Beetle is just spot on. Also like that milkfloat alot. The cab reminds me of some '60s custom machine.

The two tone green camper in the last post I think I followed last year on my way to a show when the Polo spectacularly melted his points and stranded us in the middle of nowhere. Was a really nice looking thing, but the lights were practically invisible.

I saw you hustling around on the Saturday morning but didn't get a chance to say hi, got some phone shots myself. The yellow liviered split bus is Rikki James new effort, he showed us some resto shots as it only landed late on last year. Overall as ever a funny show, good mix of stuff to look at and do ;D

Over took this combo on the M25 yesterday evening. Was on the inside lane with a juggernaut bearing down on it lol This explains why all I saw yesterday on the M25 was Splitties, beetles, and other associated Dubs! Also saw loads of Minis so guessing there was an event for them as well somewhere!
