I've always loved Koos Diedel's Chevy COE truck. Ever since I first clapped eyes on it a good few years ago (along with the painfully cheesy video which I can't find) it's been one of those builds that has just made me go 'wow' or 'OOOF' every time I see it. So imagine you had the time, the money, the space and the talent to do something along similar lines, but with this: A rusty pile of awesome waiting to happenThankfully I don't have the money. Or the time. Or space...let alone the skill to make it a reality. It doesn't stop me fantasising about it though.... What about you guys? (pics and links will always be better than just a description )

Love it! somebody should buy the leyland and slam it !I really would l like to do something like that with a series 2a landrover, stretch the wheelbase convert it to two wheel drive with dually wheels. A long low land rover crew cab dually, if somebody wants to photo chop it the challenge is thrown down!

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

You'd be able to check the tread depth through the little windows of the Leyland. Practical.

I'd be tempted to merge this bit of awesome: with a bit of inspiration from this kinda build And a rather large smattering of this kinda size/style Never have to worry about snow... or other cars... ever again

You've got me wondering what old leyland would look like with properly shaped doors (curvier) to match the cabin styling. They do look amazing.

I'd be tempted to merge this bit of awesome: *some mega cool trucks* Never have to worry about snow... or other cars... ever again Yep, I'd be happy to roll something like that too! Oh, and QWERTY - please do it. In time for RRG13

You could hunt down something similar to my coachbuilt chevy camper van which already has a 350 SMC and auto box in it, scrap the ally body and steel cab and sell the internal fittings and then mount one of those Leyland cabs and a flat bed on it. You'd get the benefits of more sensible running gear for a "rod" that could keep up with the traffic, has power steering and brakes that work and it would probably cost a lot less to build.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

(hope I've got the right idea here, this might be the wrong kind of iconic) Rightly or wrongly, I grew up wanting my Dad to drive this rather than his Saabs: This is maybe a better example of the breed: I don't really have the budget or the space for a real life Country Squire so I've had a notion for a while for a Woody W124 estate. This Volvo is better executed, though they're both 'shopped:

I may have just had a little happy trouser moment with that 'shopped FG EmDee posted. Someone has to do it (to save me from bankruptcy doing it myself)
