I also like the FGs, for me they are bread lorries, all the bread deliveries were done by these things when I was young. Only many years latter did I find out they were used for other things as well

I've got this... ...a fairly poor example of a Chevette, needs loads to restore it properly. However I have a desire to build a Bosozoku car, seeing as the Chevette needs painting, welding and other such work. I thought why not build a Boso-style Chevette. There are so many cars that I've got inspiration from, but atm this... ...is proving to be pretty inspirational! The wheels are off getting banded, 10x13's ;D

Very cool idea. I'd start with one of these. Which are getting cheaper in Oz by the minute it seems: Apply similar flares, scoop, spoilers, blackouts and general 70s awesomeness from one of these: Fit one of these beasties in it - a twin turbo Commodore (Buick) V6 in it: Then give it three pedals, decent wheels, a proper brake and suspension package with a few acres of black leather inside and go a'hunting on the twisties in the hills with it.

Copy that paint job too. It would look good if you de-chrome the side of the MG to let you have the black area in the same proportions. I was looking at MGBs to apply the Outlaw 356 style to but the lines are wrong. Nothing wrong with the MGB, just that the 356 is sooo perfect to start with.

Inspiration - big rugged off road camper van thingy Made from - Not this one obviously, but if I could find a rough one cheap enough Id look at trasplanting some sort of 4x4 system, maybe a Panda or Scooby.

Well with this in mind: Which is utterly legendary, I will take my imaginary monies and buy one of these: Which gives 8" away to the wheel base of this: Now wheel choice is going to be difficult, but I suspect with enough digging around, a set of these could be found in the correct 5x114: And end up with something like this:

if I could find a really cheap e-type Wow, talk about raising the stakes... ha! I didn't do that on purpose, but if it's a "fantasy build" then why not? Sticking to that theme I've always wanted an Aston Vantage. Love 'em. Like this one: Actually while I was looking for one I realised how much the prices have shot up. can't seem to get one for less than about 35k! Here's an "affordable" one www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page/165940/1973-aston-martin-vantage/So anyway. Nascar style Cragar steelies with yellow tyre writing like this sort of pro-touring theme:
