Hi, want to get my Vanette low but trying to work out how is being abit of a problem. Rears are fine, just put them on blocks and I'm away. Its the fronts I'm having problems with, its on a transverse leaf spring. Anyone got any ideas?

I can only think of 2 options without seeing the way its set up,
1, Raise the centre spring perch, or 2, Get the spring de arched

People have told me about flattening the spring, this is all well and good but surly it wouldn't fit again as it would be longer (if I'm making sense) can anyone clarify?

The spring won't be any longer, it will just be straighter. The wishbones move in an arc so as they move up the outer most point also moves out, untill they are at 90 degrees to vertical, then they start to move back in. when the wishbones are at 90 degrees your spring will be dead flat. hope this makes sense.
