I opened this expecting not to like it. I was pleasantly surprised, it's actually a really lovely looking car, all the better for not having polished lips on those BBS wheels. Perhaps a bit less stretch (if possible)

One thing that got my OCD imploding is the graphics on the door. It makes it look like the owner has just fitted a door from another E30. With a bit of thought, that could easily be turned into a striking set of graphics/livery, but as it stands, to me, it really jars with an otherwise nicely presented car.

That's rather lovely. I like almost everything I see there, though I am with Bruce when it comes to the graphics.

Extend the graphics into the rear 3rd quarter and that would make a world of difference. The stretch just doesn't do anything to me now a days. It's like seeing a porno mag again. I need something more corrupt and perverted to get my juices flowing now. Bit like stretch and stance as a moniker for car modification. It's like a Delia Smith recipe for Yorkshire puddings rather than something that's going to be revolutionary and avant garde.
NOT that I dislike the car.
I'm not the most avid of BMW fans but a well presented M3 will always epitomise my youth in the 80s, ergo will always be special in my eyes, even if 80s pornography has left a foul taste In my life.

As said, lose the silly stretch and extend the graphics, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.
The finish on the BBS makes a refreshing change and works well with the overall package

Love it apart from the kerb catcher lips on the rims. Painted white like that, they look awesome.

FTR I noticed something out of the ordinary from the first picture, so it would never have got past me as a 'stock' car anyway, and I'm not a purist...

Now, paint it lurid pink and affix some air suspension, then we could phone "straightsix" magazine and wait for the uproar to ascend..
