£200 on standard wheels \ nuts (although you'll have to bring two 14"s) or £300 on the 106 Rallye wheels (x6) and nuts (x16).
Right. Time to admit I'm not going to get around to getting this one back on the road. The 460 is leaking badly and suffering from staying outside, so it's time for the Pug to find a new home.
It has no MOT or tax - currently on SORN (in my name). It came off the road after the test went. Repeated problems with the Solex autochoke carburettor meant it got parked up and eventually moved indoors last year. It'll need to be trailered or A framed away.
The S5 was a limited edition model for '85 - which meant a 1.6 litre GT spec XU engine and a GR trim level, giving you plush seats, a rev counter and a BE1 5 speed gearbox.
It runs - badly because of the carburettor - but I have a reconditioned one in a box together with some NOS headlights in Peugeot packaging.
Body wise it'll need a front valance (there's one I'm watching on French eBay) and plating to the ends of both outer sills. The wobbly OSR arch will need attention too. Doors are mostly OK along with the wings and rear tailgate, although it leaks at the rear seal.
I have the horizontal roof bars too along with an early 205 GTI leather steering wheel (the centre has been swapped but can easily be put back in.
We tried to convert the Solex to manual choke but didn't get very far - hence the choke lever on the dashboard and cabling in the engine bay. It had new plugs and a dizzy cap in an attempt to cure the running issues.
One Rallye wheel has a bent rim. I have two others that spin up straight. The Rallye wheels and nuts would be included at the £300 asking price. The Rallye tyres are Pirellis with 4mm of tread. This photo also shows the blebby OSR arch.
It's available for viewings in Stockport during the week, some weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Cups of char and swearing available whether you want them or not.
