Try thinners first if it's fresh, after a few hours, other than picking it off your best bet is to try something greasy like olive oil or some proper moisturiser - it'll seep into your skin and get underneath the tigerseal.

Nailbrush and hot soapy water is what I use. Currently have 1 black finger as my rubber glove tore earlier when I was pressing some into a weld seam.

I use washing up liquid with spoonful of sugar to clean my hands when oily. Rub in well before putting under the tap. Try it as just as good as commercial hand cleaners. In fact I keep a few sachets of sugar from cafes in the car so I can use it when cleaning my hands,if dirty, at motorway service stations and such.

every time i try that i get told off for getting the kitchen cupboard and sugar jar dirty.

good tip keeping sachets in the car / garage.

I use industrial wipes, come in a big plastic red tub - available in halfords but i got my last lot from the car boot.

My late father-in-law was a mechanic (aircraft during WWII and cars after). He said they used to have a tub of sugar soap that you rubbed on your hands then a drum of sand that you dipped the soaped hands into before washing.
