Hey guys.
Polokidger:
I am 99% sure the 2.8I rack has it mounting points set a tad further back to the Non-PAS Pinto one.
on the 2.8 they need to be further back to allow the PAS unit to fit and not foul anything.
Also on the 2.8 rack the front bolts are further forward than the Pinto ones how ever you will notice an out line for the pinto bolting points.
so in theory the 2.8 rack has 6 holes to bolt it to the body.
sound confusing and not sure if I am explaining it ok but once you start to fit it all up you will see what I mean.
Inter-coolers on a diesel turbo is a must Look up Allard turbo most cases its a 10bhp increase easy.
From what I can gather diesels like warm/thin diesel and cool dense air.
this is only gathered from my own messing about with 4X4 diesels- Also many will sniff at this
but I have fitted this item myself and there is a Difference and that's a Fuel cat Diesel enhancer
seriously made a lot of difference to my 1999 Hilux and 1995 shogun.
Anyway when you get a chance would you be kind enough to get up some pictures of the engine mounts
so I can see what I am up against.
