On the MigWelding forum somebody is trying to identify this hub -  Three stud so probably French. Any ideas ? Cheers. Paul H |

Is it not just a trailer hub? I don't think so for two reasons - three studs plus holes for retaining brake drum. |

Two cylinder Citroen Visa was three bolt as well. I'm guessing the 2CV and LNA could be the same. The smaller engineed AXs were also three bolt too.

Early 305's were 3 stud - later ones were 4

Early 106 pugs were three stud too but the thickness of lugs suggest its from something earlier IMHO

I reckon thats a very early Lockheed 3 stud trailer hub. They came with or without brakes and quite often on small military trailers. The Hillman Tilly had 3 studs so the trailers were made to match the PCD as they were used for military as well. My old car trailer has an almost identical hub but with 4 studs, but the middle bit is exactly like that.

A lot of pre 60s cars had three stud but I also reckon that is off a trailer.
