I had a bugeye 79 wagon, lowered on King springs at the front and lowering blocks at the back Yours looks to be in good condition too, old Mazdas love to rust, even here in Australia!

yes timmy201 - pics of your build thred came up when i was researching about the 323 estates, had a good look through it
mine only needed welding to the end of the sills and that was it thankfully - unfortunatly i cant get many parts in the uk, so far most of my parts have come from abroad
what age are your wagons smurph323?

would be great to see more 323's, another chap takes his gold saloon with wide arches on cobra slotmags. at this rate might be able to organise a mazda stand. ?? just finished the interior of mine today. and here is my oldest 323 1984 gt twr. BD chassis... currently undergoing work, unsure if it will be ready in time for next year, we will see.

Another good looking 323 but I can't help thinking what the hell is an XB GT Hardtop doing in that picture!

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

to be fair i was still awaiting the right wheels for it so those temps ones never quite worked. and it was a random stand i tagged along with, mostly people would lean on my car to take a shot of the yank tank yep i can well believe it, alot of parts were shared. which is fairly handy but still difficult to come by.

If it's an XB hard top, it isn't a Yank tank.. It's an Australian falcon coupe.
When I was an apprentice, one of the other guys had a 1981 323. He got it for $300 and just ripped skids everywhere in it. 13/14" tyres were stupidly cheap back then.

Looking good! Love the wheel choice. What did the plates set you back if you don't mind me asking? I never realised that type was still made.

I'm not to sure - i thought it was a series 3 as its also 1984 - the engine was running fine apart from not liking having the choke pulled out, it would run a bit lumpy but that would disapear when warmed up- now the accelarator pump or somthing has packed up on the carb (mabey the diaphram) and its leaking fuel so i thought i might just sell the rx7 preferably complete as its more trouble than its worth haha
