Any regular meets between Bournemouth and Southampton?

I'm new ish here and recently changed from the ford scene of which there was quite a few meets around bournemouth and southampton but now i have a mazda 323 rwd estate so was woldering if there was any general RR meets between bournemouth and southampton or anywhere inbetween as i can find very little on line and facebook

if not would people be interested in possibly setting up little mini meets as theres not much inbetween thos two areas for general RR stuff

i know theres a southwest RR facebook page and i went to the most recent meet near fearndown and there was a good turnout for that but again nothing closer to the new forest and southamoton that i could find

Hi Louis,

You got any photos of your Mazda? I'm local to you ish in Downton just south of Salisbury. There's not many meetings in the New Forest for vintage/retro cars apart from Beaulieu, yet there's quite a few classic cars in the New Forest oddly enough. I'm getting a meet together up near me in Salisbury at Old Sarum Airfield, look on the Southwest Retro Rides Facebook the event should be on there.

hi, yes just saw that on facebook - pics of my car are in the photos section

still looking for somthing a little closer, i see loads of young people in retro cars round here

I'm in lymington and the general area dosnt have much/anything to do for retro cars as far as I'm aware nor do surrounding towns

and classic cars on the prom in bournemouth are for cars pre 83 with no discration which is a shame as i use to go with my prevous car - the mazda being 84

I'll see if I can have a look. I can't think of any other meets apart from CCOTP and that's finished for this year, almost. Apologies!

I'm only just outside New Milton but I am also dreadfully antisocial and someone has ruined ccotp for me so I just sit in my shed, in the dark and cold, on my own.

ive seen your vauxhall dotting about now and again aswell

i recon there would be lots of people interested if somthing was started up

Might well summon up the courage to leave the safety of the cattle grids, pack my hunting stick and head for Salisbury district.

Vauxhall is used every day, don't forget to wave/flash (headlights) etc, I'll probably look puzzled the first few times...

ringwood raceway have drift nights every couple of wednesdays whch is good
