need a new lock mechanism for my eurocco kitcar as this was rusted solid tryed freeing it but still very stiff but not sure what its from the door handle is from a cortina 3   |

Seeing the part number is visible have you though of asking your local Ford agent's parts dept to enter the numbers into their system ?

Looks like a Capri one, knowing ford they are probably the same from anything that sort of era

I can' say for sure, but knowing old-school kitcar manufacturers, if the handle is a Cortina part, the latch is also probably 'tina. Items like those were usually re-used as a set.
I'd say Copey has it right too.
