Put the driver's door membrane back in place (for some stupid reason I left it out when I replaced the doorhandle), find out where that gear shifter rattle comes from, maybe fetch new wheel bearings all around from a friend who buys them from work (€160 for all of them! Result), maybe do oil changes and oil filter. Some would do all of that in a mere 3hrs, I'm not sure it'll all be done by Sunday evening Thebaron> ooooh that sounds nice!!

I need to strip a couple of the Jag's doors down to chase a non working electric window and a possible broken microswitch but I've been putting it off for ages I'll also give the MG a good drive out to try and use some of the fuel which must be getting a little stale now...

Polished, fitted and plumbed up a catch tank so the vented engine breather no longer covers the top of the engine in loose oil. Now need to decide if my powerz are strong enough to try curing the intake gasket leak that covers the top of the engine in loose coolant... ...I reckon probably not

Well since you asked... I'm getting my door back for my Zodiac from "Kev the welder" tomorrow, can't wait to fit it back in! And then... I'm saying goodbye to my very short lived project Chevette Also saying goodbye to £1000... And then a man is dropping me off this lovely 1975 Viva Which is going to be my new daily!

As I realised I've got 19 days leave from work to use up by the end of the year I've decided to take a week off, meaning I've got a 9 day weekend as such:)
So far I've MOTed and valeted the daily driver, and gotten the Beetle all ready to go to its new owner tomorrow morning. With the Beetle gone it means I'm left with a car sized hole in the garage so I'll use that to my advantage to sort out a load of bits I've been hoarding that I'm realistically never going to use, and stick them on ebay. Then in the week I'll go and pick up the Estafette which I've been storing at my other garage and bring it back home, with the intention of trimming the interior panels and getting a floor down in it.

Moving house ... again 10 miles from point-A in Northumberland to point-B in Northumberland, via a 2 week / 600 mile detour through wales (which wasn't a shortcut !) New pics to follow (when I can find which box the camera is in) - but here's a reminder from our practice run last year Visitors welcome as always, the new place is in Blyth so shout up if you're nearby.

Is it my imagination, or are there two threads almost identical on this topic at the moment? In that case, on this one I'll be forcing MX-5 windscreen wipers to fit my RX-7 so I can lose the original non-wipey spinny-pin curse word ones and actually see where I'm going on the way to Goodwood ** See the other almost identical "What are you doing this weekend thread". Unless I dreamt it
