I have an aftermarket Garage Vary GRP bumper for my MX5 the only problem is the bottom is a bit roached, so i would like to cut the bottom off a spare standard PU bumper and Gv lip and mate the 2..
So can anyone give me some advice on how to do this and what to use?
Cheers
Steve

I would use polyurethane or windscreen bond as it's also known, look up Rejel on Google and I am sure that they will have a kit suitable for your requirements, I have been a windscreen fitter for over 20 years and have used bond to repair furniture, for coving, trims/mouldings, panels, windscreens and tons of other stuff, then correct primers for your needs is what you will need rusty

Tiger-seal is good stuff. "Other grab adhesive products are available" : Sikaflex, Serious Stuff. You can get them in places like B&Q and Screwfix. There are so many other sealant products in those places too, but if you make sure the packaging describes it as a heavy-duty exterior grab adhesive, you'll not go far wrong.

As darrylwebb said sikaflex is good stuff but will cost more than they Dinatroll bond sold by Rejel, what ever you use it has to be made for the job required and if they parts to be stuck are not prepared correctly and primer not used you could end up wasting your time and money prep and primer and you will have no problem rusty

I use tigerseal for almost everything - it's a PU adhesive for bonding in windscreens etc, sticks like sh1t to a furry blanket, and my first choice for everything from bonding double glazing into my mate's truck, to repairing my boots.

Thanks for all the replies i now have an idea of what to buy.
So by prep i guess you mean making a decent key by using something like 70 grit ?
As i am joing two very thin panels what do i use to bridge the gap between the 2 ?

sikaflex is good stuff but will cost more Agreed on that. I used to swear by it. Now I swear at the price of it.
