........when you walk into the shop with bags full of parcels to post.
Anybody else get this? Took some stuff to the post office today and as soon as they saw me walk in with a bin liner full of various parcels they look like they wanted to dive under the counter and hope I don't see them.
To curse word em off I played the "I'm a dumbass and can't decide whether I should send the bits 1st or 2nd class and recorded/not recorded" act probably more than I should have.

the trick is to find a small sub-post office with friendly staff - and no customers
i have fallen with my local post office staff - as it takes them 3-4 minutes per parcel - and the queue builds up behind me - and old ladies tittle tattle about me

my local one is awesome. i like to go on monday mornings around the same time the pensioners and glens-drinking-40-a-day housewives all come in for the benefits. then i drag out my A game of alloys, lots of little models for around the globe, oh and the best of recent times, a rear window louvre for malta. boy that made a nice queue. twice

If you walk into a post office with parcels and you think they are surprised then I think you are paranoid. Anyway, what are you on about dear boy? Can we rid the board of pointless cra p like this by not posting it in the first place?

I quite enjoy building up a nice queue at the small local Post Office, makes me feel better about being stuck behind all the knuckledraggers who ask for all their money out and then spend about £10 of it on scratchcards.
Staff don't seem to mind me though, as I often buy bottles of Tizer and things.

Thats what they are there for but no its not just you. Stuff the benefits nutters, pensioners and jeremy kyle catalogue bill payers! Wierd when you think of all teh junk and car parts that used to sit in an attic/shed/newspaper and now get shifted from owner to owner, across the country/world each time. probably not a green thing especially but might well help the economy!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

^^ Have to agree with that somewhat. I hate the post office, have to wait half the day just to get to the front of the line because of how busy it is.... but then you get satisfaction when you hold up the people that are behind you... Mwahahah!

It was car parts i was posting lol don't get in a huff if you don't wanna read it don't click on it its hardly like the forum is overcrowded is it.
For some reason whenever I use the online label thing I always end up paying more than if I take it to the shop and get it weighed.
